Fenugreek is used for digestive problems, like anorexia, nausea, constipation, abdominal pain (inflammation of the stomach). Fenugreek Diabetes, Menstrual Pain, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, (a condition that affects hormone levels in women. This disease produces more male hormone in the body. This disease causes menstrual cramps and makes it difficult for them to have a baby). Arthritis, thyroid activity is used to reduce and obesity. It is used for elevated blood levels in certain fats, such as cardiovascular health (atherosclerosis), cholesterol and triglycerides.
Fenugreek, mouth ulcer, abscess, bronchitis, skin cell lesions (cellulitis), tuberculosis, chronic cough, hairlessness, cancer, Parkinson’s disease.
Men use fenugreek for hernia, infertility, impotence of the penis and other problems. Both men and women use fenugreek for sex.
Breastfeeding women use fenugreek to increase milk flow.
Fenugreek is sometimes used as poultice. Fenugreek is wrapped in cloth, heated in pain and swelling, used for muscle aches, ankle pain, wounds, foot ulcers and eczema.
Fenugreek is used as a spice. Methy extract is used in soap and cosmetics.
How does fenugreek work?
Fenugreek slows the absorption of sugar in the stomach and stimulates insulin. Through these two activities, fenugreek reduces the effects of sugar on the body of people suffering from diabetes.
Potentially effective for diseases
Diabetes. Some studies have shown that the consumption of fenugreek during meal time decreases the amount of sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes after eating. However, eating 1-5 grams of fenugreek once a day or two is effective for diabetes, consuming less than 2.5 grams does not work. Taking 1 gram of fenugreek twice daily for type 1 diabetes reduces the amount of sugar in the urine.
The first three days of the menstrual cycle of taking 5-20 mg of fenugreek powder and the subsequent days of taking 5 mg of fenugreek powder three times a day reduces the menstrual pain. The need to eat painkillers also decreases.
Some studies show that 1 mg fenugreek reduces body fat after eating for 3 weeks.
Studies have shown that a certain type of fenugreek (Fenulife, Frutarum Belgium) before the meal can reduce the inflammation of the chest.
High levels of cholesterol
Preliminary studies have shown that fenugreek seeds have overall and low-density lipoprotein (LDL or “bad”) cholesterol. But the effect of fenugreek on high-density lipoprotein (HDL or “good”) cholesterol and triglycerides has been shown in many studies.
To make breast milk
Breastfeeding after breastfeeding may increase the production of milk for women who are breastfeeding. One or two days after giving birth the baby increases the amount of milk consumed by fenugreek. But this is not the case in all studies.
Infertility in men
Preliminary studies have shown that fenugreek oil consumes thrice daily for 6 months, increasing the number of semen. But there is no such result as playing another part of Matthi’s scorpion.
Preliminary studies have shown that if overweight men take 12 mg three times daily and receive fenugreek extract for 2-5 weeks, their fat intake decreases. But playing at less than that does not work. But fenugreek does not affect weight, appetite, or stomach feel. By adding 5 or 5 grams of fenugreek to the breakfast, the stomach feels full and the appetite is greatly reduced.
Ovary cyst (Polycystic ovary syndrome)
Some preliminary studies show that taking 5 mg of fenugreek extract per day may reduce the size of the ovarian cysts, thereby controlling the number of menstrual periods and the number of days after menses.
